Event
SATURDAY, APRIL 22: Earth Day Care Day
A Sanctuary Community Day to Tend to Mama Earth
Reciprocity is in the Roots!
Come together for a day of stewarding Grandmother Cherry Sanctuary and deepening our relationships with each other and the land.
When we care for the Earth, we are in a fully embodied practice of giving and receiving.
Bring your gloves, boots, partners, and kids to celebrate Earth Day by giving directly to the Earth and preparing Grandmother Cherry Sanctuary for her emergence as a community healing, respite, and retreat space.

Details
Anyone connected to EmpowR or interested in building relationship is invited to come together for a day of caring for Grandmother Cherry Sanctuary! From garden bed clearing to wood gathering, forest floor tending to briar patch cleaning, campsite prepping to magical space creating, come offer your love to the Sanctuary.
This will be a day of land stewarding, community building, ceremony, song, and love for the Earth. Together we can manifest the sanctuary vision to become a community gathering, healing, respite, and retreat space which begins with clearing out the remnants of winter and welcoming in the newness of spring.
Please bring any offerings to the land to help cultivate a magical day of reciprocity for all of the gifts Mama Earth provides us every day. The Sanctuary really appreciates any energies you wish to release and compost back into the Earth, especially energy that comes from your voice. Yes, there will be singing too!
If you would like to lead a Stewarding Team, please send Rae a message to coordinate ahead of time. (this is a great opportunity for folx of any age to cultivate leadership skills).
Timing
We will honor ancestors, beings, and spirits of the land with an opening Earth Day ceremony at 10:00 am and co-create energetic intentions for our day of Earth Care.
The day will conclude by 5 pm with a fire circle and folx are welcome to linger into the evening to enjoy leftovers and pizza (Positive Pie is nearby) and further celebrate relationships and connection with each other and Mama Earth.
Food/Drink
Please bring a water bottle, lunch, and snacks to share on the community offering table. Also feel free to bring what you need for your own dietary/energy needs.
Location
Grandmother Cherry Sanctuary is located in Plainfield, Vermont on mountain/dirt roads (these are maintained roads, however mud season is mud season).
Directions and additional information will be provided upon registration.
