Who we are

We at EmpowR care about how the information you provide is used and shared. This privacy policy applies to how information is collected and used both online when visiting EmpowR-Transformation.com, Empower-Transformation.com, EmpowR-Voice.com, and Empower-Voice.com; EmpowR social media channels, and when information is provided offline.

By providing us information, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Personal data collection and how it is shared

Contact forms

Personal information provided in contact forms including your name, email, phone number, and state of residence are collected for communication purposes between EmpowR and its programs, offerings, or services with clients, potential clients, and members of the EmpowR community. Contact forms use third party vendor, Acuity, for scheduling which adheres to SquareSpace terms of use and privacy policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage to never provide personal information through websites without parental permission.

Events and Services

Personal information is collected with both online and offline event and service registration, including name, email, phone number, and state of residence and is used for event and/or service registration purposes, including subscription to EmpowR communication emails. Events and other services (including online sessions) use third party hosts (Zoom, webinars) and are in compliance with third party vendor privacy statements.

Communication Emails

EmpowR uses third party vendor, Mailchimp, for communication emails. Per the Mailchimp privacy policy, your contact information is used for EmpowR communication purposes only.

Information collected from EmpowR contact forms, events, services, and relationships comprise EmpowR’s Mailchimp subscription list. You may manage your receipt of communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of EmpowR Voice newsletter and other EmpowR communication emails. You cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to EmpowR services and events. We will process unsubscribe requests in a timely manner; however, it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our databases.

Billing information

Online billing and invoicing is conducted through third party payment vendors and is in compliance with third party vendor privacy statements and terms of use. Stripe Policy Quickbooks Policy

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

Information collected uses cookie technology. Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s or mobile device’s hard drive so that your computer will “remember” information about your visit. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to help us collect information for Google Analytics and to enhance your experience using the website.

These third parties may use cookies, pixel tags, and/or other technologies to collect information for such purposes. If you have registered for social media sites, you may access their individual privacy policies as well as review and make changes to your personal information on the social media websites to which you are registered.

We cannot be responsible for any unauthorized third-party use of such information.

We take applicable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All security systems can be penetrated and we cannot guarantee the security of our databases or third party applications. There is no guarantee that information you provide is safe during transmission over the internet or that emails are secure.
