Intentions
- To cultivate and nurture relationships and community among facilitators, educators, advocates, activists, leaders, and change makers who are working to upend the status quo.
- To build trust and personal accountability towards the shared vision of healing the heart of humanity by transforming ourselves to transform the world.
- To hold brave space where participants can witness each other’s challenges, offer support, and celebrate our successes in building cultures centered in equity and belonging.
Details
Culture Builders: a community of practice supports emergence and coalition building from the roots up by empowering strength in the web of relationships with vulnerability, courage, and trust. Circle process facilitation will guide listening, dialogue, and embodiment practices to acknowledge the personal responsibility of a whole body experience. Group agreements will center the safety of People of Color and those with other marginalized identities. You are invited to attend one or all in the series. We will stay committed to the intentions while holding space for the impacts, including allowing the conversations to determine how the community of practice progresses past May. The community of practice is based on Abenaki Land in Vermont and invites participation from this area and beyond.
Facilitated by: Jennifer Grossi and Rae Carter, co-creators with EmpowR–a container for transformative justice work committed to co-creating cultures of empathy, healing, community, and accountability.
