Wheel of the Year Ceremony
SUNDAY, MAY 4: Beltane Ceremony
Celebrate the Pagan Holiday of Beltane at Grandmother Cherry Sanctuary.
Beltane is a celebration of sensual fertility of the Earth, our relationships, and our bodies. We will gather, frolic, sing, dance, and create a May Pole inspired spell (crafting with ribbons) for each participant to take home to conjure vibrance. Herbal tea will be offered made with medicinal plants grown organically at Grandmother Cherry Sanctuary, where we will gather for the afternoon.
We will open and close circle with vulnerability, pleasure activism, and openness to talk about sexuality and gender expansiveness in celebration of our beautiful queer universe. The four elements and the weather of the day will guide us to what spaces or space we gather in, inviting us to practice trust and emergence into cocreating a container that matches the energy of the group and day – with intention for a ritual fire we can dance and sing around for this juicy Beltane Ceremony.
Poems, songs, readings, and stories of Beltane past or energies we feel that Beltane inspires are welcome. Drums and rhythm instruments are also welcome and you are encouraged to bring something from one of your lineages or know some cultural background connected to the instrument you bring.

Details
The EmpowR Transformation “Wheel of the Year” Ceremony series celebrates living in rhythm with the cycles of Nature (and our bodies which are a part of nature). We practice Pagan Earth-based spirituality in community and welcome people from any spiritual or cultural background. Our ceremonies are simple and invite anyone interested in connecting with Earth-based spiritual practices to remember our land-based roots before the harms of colonization severed our relationships with land and each other. We draw from the Celtic Wheel of the Year and Norse mythology as that is the ancestry of our facilitators and welcome all Earth-based spiritual practices and traditions in our cocreative space.
Wheel of the Year Ceremonies average 6-14 people depending on the time of year and are designed to be both intimate and expansive, always with spaciousness for emergence and flow.

As we want to have an open space to talk about sensuality and sexual topics, this gathering is for ages 18+.
